Suspended chords are very interesting chords.
Suspended means suspend the 3rd note from the chord.
suspended is represented as 'sus'.
There are many suspended chords.
'C' sus 2, 'C' sus 4 etc.
In 'C' chord the notes play are C E G. 'C' is first note, 'E' is 3rd note and 'G' is 5th note. of the 'C' major scale.
So if we want to play 'C' sus2 , then the note 'E' is suspended by 2nd note of the'C' major scale.i.e. 'D'
So the notes play in 'C' sus2 are C D G.
Now you can find the notes of C sus4 yourself.
This rule for suspended chords is applicable for all the chords .
